Backup your Palm Data and EPIM data.
Go to Tools-> Options-> Palm Sync.
Enable Palm Sync
Choose file to synchronize
Exit EPIM!
Start Hotsync on your Palm.

No, unfrotunately. You will have to disable EPIM Palm sync. Palm OS designers made it very difficult to synchronize with Palm Desktop, EPIM, and Outlook at the same time...

Need more details.

What is your hotsync version?
What is your Palm OS name?
Why do you think that "nothing happens"?
Do you see any error messages?
Which namely instructions you followed?

ok Max more details.

What is your hotsync version?
v 6.0.1

What is your Palm OS name?
palmone palmdesktop software v 4.1.4

Why do you think that "nothing happens"?
1. I run essentialpim pro portable v2.0 rc1
2. tools-->options-->Synchronization-->palm sync-->enable palm sync
database to sync: last opened file
database authorization: login:blank, password: blank, data password: blank
(no password in my palm)
sync options: all (schedule, notes, to do, contacts)
3. close essentialpimpro
4. run hotsync with my old palm IIIxe (infrared, which is enable in hotsync)
5. no problem sync with palm desktop
6. when I open essentialpim pro after sync, no information on my schedule, to dos, ect. (no sync)

Do you see any error messages?

Same as guest 5/2 12:18, except I'm using a Palm LifeDrive and I sync via USB.

Hello,

please replace PalmSync.dll in your C:\Program Files\EssentialPIM Pro Beta\ with attached DLL- that will fix the problem.
