Gannt chart

Post by satterle »

This one is really out there, but how about having a capability of viewing To Do items on a Gannt chart format??? Start Time is the start date and Date Due is the finish date.

Hello,

thanks, noted. Maybe... So far this is one of the first requests of this kind.

I second the idea of a Gannt chart for the To-do list.

I use the To-do list to keep track of the tasks I delegated to my staff. So far, it has been useful but a Gannt chart would be so much better.

This suggestion also has my vote:

This is a valuable tool for anyone who is serious about their planning.

Probably the best means to achieve this is if you could select the entries you want from the To do list and have them plotted on a matrix. This is better and more useful than plotting everything.

Rather than adding a new Tab to Essential Pim, this can simply be a button "Plot" and it pops up a window that displays the result and you can send it to rpint or to image (jpeg, gif, etc).

I guess this can also be achived with less complexity by sending the entries directly to the print dialog already drawn?

Or simpler still, export the entries to html where they are drawn by template?

So far this has not yet been planned.
