Emailnavigation
I have some 3 accounts with many folders in it. When navigating between folders I have to scroll many screen lenghts between folders. It would be a relief, if there where buttons "TOP", "1/4", "HALF", "3/4", "BOTTOM" for example for quicker navigation.

Re: Emailnavigation
Currently, you can use the Page Up/Page Down and Home/End keys on the keyboard for navigation.

Re: Emailnavigation
On the left side, the accounts and Emailfolder: I waited for this many years, but it seems nobody to bother....
I have 4 accounts, in my major account there are 2 screens full vertically of emailfolders. When I scroll down, I see another accounts (which? my screen isn´t that big, that I can see the full name horizontaly, the EPIM window is divided in 10% accounts left, 90% Emails right - classic view), I can´t easy say, where I am! A little color for different accounts and folders would help very much in emailnavigation!

Re: Emailnavigation
Could you please share a screenshot of your screen (you can blur the folders names if you prefer)? This will help us gain better understanding of what you see on your end.

Re: Emailnavigation
You see, I even use empty folders with -------- and ######## for easier orientation and navigation. But something like categories on the right side (colors) for different emails, colors to shade different (I have 3) accounts, and folders with different patterns, icons, colors, would enourmous make it easier to navigate and find ones way in a big tree with many folders!

Hello a8907433,
unfortunately, user-oriented data processing is not yet one of EPIM's strengths, but version 12.1 RC has a first approach with "Customizable Views" (Save and apply templates for views in Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, and Mail, with templates now storing column attributes such as availability, width, order, and sorting). Unfortunately, the saved templates still lead to error messages.
I have briefly outlined my ideas for a user-friendly EPIM in the attached PDF file. I see user-oriented data processing for productive work primarily in the interaction of "Customized Views" and "Smart Lists" (see "Notes" and "Tasks").
Regards M&M

Re: Emailnavigation
First of all: V12.1 is very very very fast and fine!! At first using it, no problems at all!
Sedcond, emailnavigation. It works but it is.... strange.
Lets say I have folders A\B\C, i.e. A - subfolder B subfolder C. When I make B a favorite folder then Faforites are A/B but not C
I would B as favorite alone, and/or B AND C as favorite, but not A!
I think, make single folders as favorite would be the most logic solution.

Re: Emailnavigation
Please click on the button with three vertical dots and enable the compact view. In this case, you will only see the folders you marked as favorites, without their preceding hierarchy structure.

Re: Emailnavigation
Hello,
unfortunately I don't understand the purpose of this new (?) function, as I can't see all the emails in the favorites folder, but only the emails from "one" folder in the favorites. I can just select the corresponding folder in the respective account. For me, this function makes EPIM even more confusing and unproductive.
In this context, I would like to draw your attention once again to my suggestion for a "user-oriented" email management:

Re: Emailnavigation
@admin: It works, thank you!!
@M@M: I have a very long tree of Emailfolders, much more than one screen. Now I can see say, 5 very important folders at once out of 100 folders where I see only 23 on screen! (screen is verticalliy not more than 23 folders!)

Hello a8907433,
okay, in your case the favorites are certainly useful.
For me the favorites have no meaning. As long as the favorites don't appear when they aren't being used, the favorites don't make the EPIM interface any more confusing.

Re: Emailnavigation
@admin: another suggestion for favourites: I would like to be able to pin it! favorites are of no use for quick navigating, when the favourites are on top, and I navigated just to the bottom of the tree....
Re: Emailnavigation
Hello,
I don't think the favorites in their current form are productive.
A "smart list" is required for each module, in which users also have the option of creating their own "customized views".

Re: Emailnavigation
a8907433, thanks for the suggestion! You can also use a quick workaround at the moment, which involves pressing the Home button on your keyboard.
