After View all, how to return back to just Tree 1?

After View all, how to return back to just Tree 1?
When View All or Ctrl+D is used in the Notes module it shows all for all of the notes trees not just the tree that is selected.
That's ok except that there's nothing that shows or tells how to return it back to just Tree 1.
I accidentally found that selecting another tree and re-select Tree1 it puts it back to normal.
Could you make Ctrl+D toggle it back to tree1 when pressed again?
If I'm missing something please let me know.
