Date Formate

Post by John-T »

Hello;

Using 12.01 on Win 11. I'm trying to set the date format (Options - General) to dd-MMM-YY (01-Jun-24). I can put the format in date field and the preview show correctly. However, the dates in all lists shows as 01-Jun-2024. When I go back in to the options, the date format is reset to dd-MMM-yyyy.

Is a 2 digit year not possible?

Thanks

- John

A two-digit year should also be possible. We will address this situation in the next app update. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

I would like to also have a two character weekday and a one character year.
Since the first two characters of every weekday is different I don't see any need for the third character.

We can make it possible to use a two-character weekday. However, the issue with a one or two-character year is determining which century (20th or 21st) it belongs to when edited. This ambiguity arises due to the shortened format.

Thanks that would be great if the two character week feature was added.
