Version 12 Fehler bei Mail und Benutzer und neuen Icons der Kontakte

Leider geht die "teuerste" Version nicht mehr

Der SYSDBA kann Mails einwandfrei lesen, bei jeglichen anderen Usern ist Mail nicht mehr zu gebrauchen da keine Anzeige mehr stattfindet und das Modul abstürzt. Der Fehler ist noAccess MailICONView. Das passiert nur bei weiteren eingerichteten Usern egal welche Rechte sie haben, nur der SYSDBA funktioniert. Auf mehreren PCs mit mehreren Benutzern ausprobiert. Bitte fixt das

Could you please post a screenshot of the error message here? Additionally, was the database first opened with the SYSDBA user when switching to EPIM 12?

im sure it was not the SYSDBA because a normal user is automatically logged in. So i update to Version 12 and opened epim and no Access to Mail. With Version 11 no problem with 2 users previously.

You should always begin by opening your database with the new version of EPIM as a SYSDBA. If there is a database conversion required, only the admin user has sufficient rights to execute all the conversion procedures successfully.

We recommend restoring your database from the previous version of EPIM, there is a backup file that includes "backup_convert" in its name. Simply rename the file with the EPIM extension and open it with the SYSDBA user the first time. Would this solution resolve the issue? Thank you!

unfortunately no!

I have now done the following:

Windows Server 2019 install epim Business Pro Version 11.8.4 with my old Database (firebird from installer 11.8.4)
Client Windows 10 with ePIM Business 11.8.4

On a Windows Client:
Login with SYSDBA - no Problem with mail
Login with UserxY - no Problem with mail

Update to epim 12 on this Windows 10 Client.
Login with SYSADM - no Problem with Mail

Login with userXY - Mail broken same problem

THEN I have done the following:

Windows Server 2019 install epim Business Pro Version 12 with NEW BLANK Database
Client Windows 10 with ePIM Business 12

On a Windows Client:
Login with SYSDBA - no Problem with mail - furnished one New User
Login with New User - Mail broken same problem

On the new database, did you add an email account to EPIM? If yes, under which user was it added?

Thank you, we have been able to reproduce the issue and are currently working on a solution. Please anticipate the resolution in the next EPIM update.

I got the same Error:
no permission for read/select access to TABLE MAILICONVIEW.

If i click OK the Mailview works. We've noticed additional that we didin't could set the Options>Email>Default Format always to only Text and not HTML and this setting won't work anymore.
We get this Error mentioned and after press OK the Mail opens but in HTML View (Not like in Options set to only TXT).

Build from above hasn't work, i did try that before posting.
Today i've installed the 12.0.1 and the error didn't gone...sorry

You need to open your database with the SYSDBA user first for it to work properly. Have you done that?

Ok deinstalled and reinstalled your build again with SYSDBA only now the error message is gone!

Only issu now is the preview isn't working again. Open a Email direcly the view works normal.

But we could work better without the errormessage for now.

Thank you for the confirmation. I'd also recommend updating to the latest 12.0.1 release and checking if your mail preview starts working. If the issue persists, please let us know your Windows OS version number.
