Cannot create repeating/regenerate tasks

Using WPIM 11.8.3 on a Win 10 PC.

I can set up tasks, no problem. But when I try to create a "Repeating" or "Regenerating" task, it does not set up any tasks in the future. Only for today.

I've tried just checking the repeating box with "no end date" for a daily task. I've tried clicking on the settings button next to repeating task to check the "regenerate" button, and same result. No future tasks set up.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong as everybody else seems to not have a problem with it.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Got the new EPIM update installed, but still cannot establish repeat tasks.

Does any body know if the fix was in the 11.8.4 update. If so, I need some coaching on how to establish a repeating task. Do I hit the setting button to "regenerate task" or just check the "repeat box" and set the number of times to repeat?

Have you tried creating a new repeating task to see if it starts working as expected?

I sure did. No joy. That's why I was asking for some guidance.

Will the new task be created once the existing recurring one is marked as completed?

No, after checking task completed, it does NOT regenerate or show up for the next day.

Please create a new test database file and record a short video demonstrating the issue. Don't forget to click on Help->About and include that in the video as well. Thank you.

Thanx for the advice to delete the EPIM.ini file.
Once I did that, it appears my repeating tasks are in fact, populating now.
