How to change default font for all existing notes?

For reasons unknown, the font in my many thousands of notes is Ariel 10.

Can't read it.

How can I change the font or at least the font size for ALL existing notes?

Just found I can change the view, zoom a few times, and HOPE that I don't have to do it every time I start Epim.

And it's a bit odd with newer notes that have a larger font.

Once the zoom parameter is set, it should remain unchanged and not adjust itself.
