Hi folks

I've just encountered this problem also - i.e. I previously bought the pro version of AEPIM but this is now not being recognised.
AEPIM version: 6.0.14
Phone: ASUS Zenfone 8, Android version 13
AEPIM Pro purchase date: 23/04/2014

For ADMIN: I'll PM you the order number as per instructions earlier in this thread.

Additional info (maybe helpful for others): I had also problems getting the EPIM Android system account back to work to see the contacts in the dialer. After I unchecked and checked the EPIM system account checkbox, and EPIM recreated the account back, everything is now working like before.

Thanks for that :). I did read that post but wasn't sure about how to install something on my phone that didn't come direct from the Play Store. I'm sure I can figure out if I try but thought the path of least resistance might just be to get the admins to activate my pro version, since I still have the order number.

No, just do it, accept the installation from unknown sources (not unknown = EPIM), and install latest version just after... Rgds

OK, just tried that but I get an error message: "App not installed as package appears to be invalid".
Guess I'll just wait for the admins, which is fine.

The admins will ask the same - believe me : it was exactly my past issue - just uninstall the version you have on Android + install the AEPIM 5.8.7 + install the Google Play version - Regards.

Update. The problem is always the same even on Android 14 (Xiaomi Redmi Note 12) and even in this case the solution I wrote above works.

Yes, it's always the same issue on Android 14 — and strangely it's also always the old AEPIM 5.8.7 that needs to be installed 1st :o

This process does indeed work (or it did here...) - of course, then you need to Re-sync with desktop (if appropriate)
uninstall AEPIM 6.0.5
download AEPIM 5.8.7 via this link: https://www.essentialpim.com/download/o ... _5.8.7.apk
install the downloaded AEPIM 5.8.7
start AEPIM 5.8.7. Just a few seconds later it automatically found my license and Pro-featuers became available
update to AEPIM 6.0.5 and Pro-features remained available.
