11.7.1 downloads 11.7 on homepage

Hi there,

on my side, download and install of 11.7.1 presents 11.7 after start of program

Anybody out there with the same experience?

Nope, I can not confirm this. I just downloaded the new version from the homepage.
Installed the portable version and it shows 11.7.1

poet-man, I would recommend trying to download the file using a different browser. It's possible that your current browser is getting the file from its cache, which could be causing the issue. Give it a try and let us know. Thanks.

I usually use Microsoft Edge. After deleting cache manually, I was able to download 11.7.1.
As this is not the first time, I had this problem, might there be a possibility, that the link on homepage can be set in a way, so it downloads file from source and not from cache or is this something to set in options of browser?

There is one possible solution that I can think of, which is to clear the browser's cache. However, normally there shouldn't be any issues with downloads.

Well, thats what I did! At least I know now, what to do in future, if the issue comes up again.
As this is something others described here as well in past, maybe the real reason will be discovered somewhen
