Sound bei Maileingang

Hallo,

ich habe Windows 10 Home und EPIM 11.7

Heute habe ich testweise mal wieder Mailkonten in EPIM eingerichtet. Wollte es noch einmal versuchen.
Ich finde keine Einstellungen mehr für den Sound. Es wird immer nur der Standardklang aus Windows abgespielt. Ist das entfernt worden?

Ändere mal die Sprache auf Englisch- hier ist der Punkt "Mail notifications...." in den Optionen wo er immer war. Einziger Unterschied zu dir ist, ich verwende Windows 8.1.

Also wenn der Punkt nicht hier ist, dann liegt es vielleicht an der Übersetzung.

Oh- habs gerade entdeckt: Es ist der Punkt "Benachrichtigungrn neuer Emails...."

Aber eben nur der Standardsound. Man kann keinen eigenen mehr einstellen.

Starting with Windows 10, new mail notifications (including sound) can only be adjusted in the Windows system settings. On your screenshot, there is an "Open" button (called "Öffnen") that should take you directly to the settings.

Verstehe, das alles läuft ab jetzt über Windows und man kann keine eigenen Sounds mehr verwenden.
I see, it all runs through Windows from now on and you can't use your own sounds.

You can still change the sound of the default mail notification by going to the Windows Control Panel, Sound and on the "Sounds" tab, you can adjust the sound file associated with the mail notification.

I have no sound on incomming mails for many versions now. The problem is, I use the portable version. No sound associated with this. The difference to Thunderbird portable: This Thunderbird plays its own sound, even in the portable version.
It´s a pity....

If you're using Windows 8.1, please note that the default sound settings may be different compared to Windows 10 and newer versions.
