Creating Preliminary Tasks or Events

Hello; I want to be able to create events or tasks that need to be done prior to an event. In the simplest terms. I have a meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. I have a repeating event for that. I need to do an agenda for the meeting and need to send that out to everyone 5 days before the meeting.

I am pretty sure there is some way to do this, but I am having a brain freeze and can't seem to figure it out. It should be simple and easy but I am stuck somewhere. What I am thinking of is a dependencies list of tasks & events like a work flow.

For example, one possible approach could involve creating a recurring task that is due 5 days before the event, and then establishing a link between the task and the event itself. This way, you can ensure that the necessary preparations are in place well before the event date.
