Problem with mailfolders

Post by Skynet »

Hello there!
I think I found a new bug related to mailfolders. When I am saying mailfolders, I am talking about the folders manually made inside EssentialPim to organize different categories of e-mail. if I create a mailfolder on level two in a folderhiearchy it will by default be placed at the bottom of that folderlist. If I close EssentialPIM it will still be at the same location when EssentialPIM is opened again. But ... if you have quite a few folders, you will probably want to sort your folders by their name. When I take the newly created folder and drag it to its correct place (still at level 2 in the folder structure) it will still be at the correct location. But when I close EssentialPIM and open it again, the folder is suddenly placed at the bottom at level 1 in the folder structure. Really strange issue. Can't remember having this issue before, and I have quite a few folders, so I do this operation often.

Since we weren't able to reproduce the problem on our end, could you please provide us with a short video demonstrating the problem? This will help us better understand the issue and find a solution. Also, please ensure that you are using the latest version of EPIM, which is 11.6.5. Thanks.

Hi, again!

I was in the process of making a video to illustrate the problem, but I was not able to reproduce the problem myself.

What I did beforehand:
- Upgraded from 11.6 Pro to 11.6.5 Pro
- Moved all e-mails out of the problem folders
- Deleted the problem folders, and also deleted them from Deleted Items
- Closed EssentialPIM
- Opened EssentialPIM
- Recreated the same folders. Moved e-mails into them moved them to where they should be (alfabetically)
- Closed EssentialPIM
- Opened EssentialPIM, and they still was where they should be

So, whatever this issue was, and since I am not able to reproduce it ... I think we should close this issue.

Best regards
