How to change database folder? "rmprefs.txt" file?

Post by pstein »

How can I change the database folder?

In menu

File--->Database Management

I can see the current location but I cannot change it.

Furthermore I observed a new file "rmprefs.txt" which is stored in my download folder D:\downloads\.

is this from EssentialPIM?

How can I change the location of this (Backup?) file too?

Please follow these steps to change the location of your EPIM database file:
1. Open Windows Explorer and locate your current EPIM database file.
2. Move the file to the new location of your choice.
3. Open EPIM and click on File > Open...
4. Navigate to the new location where you moved the database file and select it to open.

To change the backup file location, go to Tools > Options > Backup and specify the new location.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
