11.5 and 11.5.1 Updates - Socket Error #10600

Post by IrishDan »

Good afternoon. I have had an issue since the last two updates of opening up EssentialPIM on my laptop at work and have gotten the same Socket Error #10600. I was able to revert back to 11.4 and had no issues with it. I got with my IT Team and they see nothing has changed on our end for this to happen and because I was able to revert back to 11.4 with no issues they believe it is coming from PIM. Please let me know if you need any further information and thanks as always! Take care.

Are you by any chance using VPN?

I am not using VPN inside the office. I use it from home and have no issues with the Socket Error. Thanks.

This error often indicates a connection time-out when EPIM fails to receive a response from the server. To address this, you may want to review your firewall settings or disable it temporarily for testing purposes. Will it help?
