I have had this problem before, but it was resolved. When I search for a word in a note, often the word isn't found even though it is definitely there. A search from the top level of the note tree for the same word does find it. See two screenshots attached to illustrate.

Please export the note into a new EPIM database file, open the exported file, check if the issue is still there and if yes, forward me the DB via PM here in the forum. Thanks!

For whatever reason, this no longer seems to be a problem. Maybe following the latest release?

Search does not work at all for me. It always comes up empty.
If I type a new note it works. But anything I imported from treepad is not found.
If I cut and re-paste an imported note it is then found.

What is your EPIM version number? Could you please send us a test note from TreePad so that we can attempt to reproduce the problem on our end?
