Same network...

Post by bobmac1547 »

The Help file indicates that the iphone and Windows 10 PC have to be on a "Common Network between iOS device and PC (same network)"

My desktop PC is connected via ethernet and my iphone is connected via wifi.

Is this why I'm having trouble with sync'ing?

The connection type (wired or wireless) shouldn't matter.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!

bobmac1547,

My setup is similar to yours and syncing works. I have an Android phone and my Windows 10 desktop is wired (WiFi is turned off). When I do PC Sync on the phone, it shows the same network as when I click on internet connections on the PC. I don't know about an iPhone but syncing an Android to the PC has to be done from the phone.

Hope this helps.
