The backup restore is not full

Post by marmegint »

Hi there,

I have also experienced with previous AEPIM versions that when restoring a backup, the previously set sound and vibration properties are not restored.
In the save settings, I select everything so that the database and the setting are also saved.

I have to individually re-select the desired sound and vibration for each event.
Meanwhile, no changes have been made to the Android OS.
I don't delete or replace, move files, nor do updates happen at that time in the Android.

I don't know why that might be.

(Sony Xperia 1, Android 9, AEPIM 5.8.7 )

Thanks.

Sound and vibration properties are normally set up on the system level now (Android OS requirements) and aren't part of EPIM settings.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
