Copy of emails in deleted folder
Hello
Using 11.1 and using Google for email. I have a rule setup to add a tag to incoming emails (not sure if this is the issue or not). When I receive an email I have a copy of that email in the inbox and a copy of that same email in the deleted folder.
Has anyone else seen this issue?
Please advise.

Will it happen if the rule is disabled?

Thanks for your response. I will disable now and let you know. I wanted to post before testing just to see if there were other instances. I will be in touch with results soon.

Re: Copy of emails in deleted folder
Please share a screenshot about how the rule's settings look like. Are we talking about an IMAP type of an account?

Here you go. Yes, as noted these are gmail accounts.

Re: Copy of emails in deleted folder
Thanks, you meant to say an IMAP mail account? If so, please forward us the log file after you end up with duplicate email in Trash, which can be found here: Tools->Options->Synchronization, Browse... and the log filename should start with "Mail". Thanks!

Re: Copy of emails in deleted folder
Thank you. I just turned the rule on long enough on one account to recreate. So I have more information that will hopefully be helpful. The rule is to set the tag for incoming mail to "2022". I also had a label within my gmail account for 2022. So I renamed the Google label to Archive 2022. I then sent myself a test email from another account. The rule worked and it added the tag. However, it moved it from the inbox to the 2022 folder. So in this instance it did not put a duplicate in the deleted folder but the email never hit my inbox which is a problem.
I have sent you the log from this instance. I have turned off all of my rules at this point as they do not seem to be working properly.

Re: Copy of emails in deleted folder
All right, it seems you need to:
1. Remove the account from EPIM
2. Re-add it back in
Will it start working correctly after that?
