Date and Time in a fixed location.
It would be good to have the current date and time in a fixed location.
At least have it in the Notes module so it would be visible all the time.

Hello Victor,
That information already exists in the Windows status bar.

Do you mean task bar? I don't see it in the status bar.
I auto hide the task bar, so you can't see it until you pull curser down.

Yes... sorry. I meant the task bar.
It is supposed to be on the right side from Windows 10 down.

Re: Date and Time in a fixed location.
I know it's on the right end of the task bar, but the task bar stays hidden most of the time.
The text is very small and hard to see. It would be convenient to see the Time & Date at a glance.

Re: Date and Time in a fixed location.
I understand. Some prefer the Windows task bar hidden at all times.

Thank you for the suggestion, noted. Let's see if other users are going to support this feature.

Re: Date and Time in a fixed location.
I really like this idea. But, I think it should be at the same location, and, across all modules. I jump between modules quite frequently, and having a constant visual reference to the date and time makes me aware of these things when I get too absorbed in one area of interest in another module.VictorParkerPIM wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 1:15 pm It would be good to have the current date and time in a fixed location.

For a location, I could suggest the extreme right of the main menu bar row, because across modules, it's unused space - it would help it stand out. I would also make it bold to stand out, particularly since I have a 34 inch hirez monitor that's crowded with info.
Also, I guess the time should be updated in real time (sort of obvious). Not sure whether the "seconds" need to be ticked off, others could comment their feelings about that.
This could also "open the door" for thoughts about an old request, a timer, for example, for billing purposes for being on the telephone with a client. That time could be located next to the proposed date / time display. Such a timer should also have a log that shows the date / time plus the timer count, as a lookup reference - and a keyboard shortcut to insert it into text, and/or the WIndows clipboard.
PC Desktop: Window 11 Pro, 34 inch 4K monitor.

Re: Date and Time in a fixed location.
Thanks, admin, ecsaltz, NormTheStorm
I believe most users would like this feature if implemented.
It would be great if placed on the right end of Main Menu bar.

Re: Date and Time in a fixed location.
I too think this would be a great feature for all users that use EPIM. Having a clock within the EPIM GUI would make it easier to check the time. Taking this a step further for users that travel for business or have international meetings, how about a way to display the local time in a few time zones as well (user selectable). I attached a screenshot with the suggestions for you considerations (hey, sorry, I am not a graphics designer)
