Wozu ist Eintrag 'Optionen > General > Portable Features' ?

Post by Klaus S. »

Hallo zusammen,

Schon mal vielen Dank, Klaus.

You don't have to if you don't need these options enabled.

I pick up the thread here. I have a portable installation on the USB stick and wanted to enter one of my business licenses. Unfortunately, the license data is queried again with each restart. How can I save the license permanently?

Also zusätzlich zur Datei EPIM.ini!!?

Thanks for the tip, but there is no *.ini in the directory on the USB stick, neither EssentialPIM.ini nor EPIM.ini. :-/
As long as I leave the stick in the computer, I can start EPim as often as I like. If I go to another computer with the stick, the message appears again about the possible registration. :-(

I currently only have two licenses in use. Once on the PC and once on the USB stick.

Today I dealt with the topic again. The reason was the PC on which the portable version was installed.
The portable installation fails reproducibly if EPIM is already installed stationary on the PC on which EPIM is to be installed on the stick. I suspect it is related to some registry entries.
Today I started my old X201 again and installed it on the stick. The small one had not previously come into contact with EPIM - and lo and behold: the folder structure is different and the *.ini files you quoted are now available.
