Re: Question: How safe is EssentialPIM encryption?
This reply got a bit rambly and has some just interesting info in it not related to EPIM. Not at all. People who aren't experts on the subject like me, are definitly interested in this, especially now that everything is connected. Please correct me if i am wrong, so if EPIM has the basic AES encryp...

Re: Question: How safe is EssentialPIM encryption?
My objective isn't the perfect security solution, is a middle kind of thing, giving away a bit of security for the convenience EPIM gives. EPIM isn't open source but i rather put my files in EPIM than google drive like most people do. I just don't want some random hacker guy to find my file and be a...

Question: How safe is EssentialPIM encryption?
I am using EPIM for work and self organization but now i need a somewhat safe solution for my passwords and some sensitive data like bank and IRS, etc. I haven't used EPIM for that because of concerns of safety, but now with the increase of data my memory is getting way to streached out to continue ...

Re: Attachments
Just tested with other files. When i edit a *.txt file, EPIM asks if i want to update file. When i edit a *.ods file and open it with libre office it doesn't ask to save. Thats why i didn't seen that save question screen til now. I only tried with *.ods files. I am using a portable version of Libre ...

I use lots of sheets files that i would like to attach to EPIM but it is a bit troublesome to always attach, export to edit, then attach again in EPIM. Would it be possible to attach files, like a *.ods for example, double click it in EPIM, it then opens in the default application like Excel or Libr...

Re: Dropbox Sync
The latest. v8.63 When i open Epim and insert my password for my encrypted DB, it just says "Comparing files.." and then "Downloading". It seems when Epim compares the database it always downloads, even if the file on my computer is more recent than the one in Dropbox. I don't mi...

Dropbox Sync
I am using EPim with Dropbox sync so i can use the DB at home and work. Whenever i get off work i shutdown Epim and it syncs to dropbox, everything ok so far. However, sometimes the internet connection with Dropbox fails for some reason and it fails to sync. This is not the problem, my office intern...

Re: Android Sync and Private Status
It worked. It was turned off like you said.
Well, it isn't a major necessity, but yes, it would be nice to have the same capability in android. To hide/Private some items, and if you want them to appear to insert again the password.
And thank you for the help!

Android Sync and Private Status
When i sync 1 way, Win to Android, my folder that is in Private Status from passwords isn't created or updated. To do that, i need to place my password Group in Public mode, sync, and then put on private again so in Android the group appears. Just wanted to point out what seems a bug. And one other ...

SpreadSheet Module
Having a spreedsheet module inside EssentialPIM would be incredible. I know it has been asked before in the past but i think it would be a really big plus having a basic spreadsheet to put stuff like daily expenses, or trip calculations etc. The possibilities are endless. So, i ask if in the future ...
