Is there an other option eg. access Firebird directly through SQuirreL with SYSDBA credentials run a sql update (the one I assume you would be running on my empty database) wil make a backup of the database file (I can get to it, no problem) This seems...

I assume I need v9 for that... essentialy meaning I have to reinstall. It does not work with v10

Hi Max, thanks for your reply could you please expand on how to copy the DB and remove all data from it? note this is a server license, so I have a windows server with a DB server and an epim db file, but I access this (connect) from a windows client - my personal login tells me to connect to SYSDBA...

I have an essentialpim pro network license and have the server on an old windows 2003 server I have currently messed up the firebird 2.1 server that was installed along side a 2.5. I installed the firebird on the server (seems to be a 2.1.5 according to the uninstaller, no files in the firebird folder have changed however)
I installed EPIM 6.55 on the client
Will keep you posted if fixed or not

Thanks for your reply.
The 2.1.4 I have on my server is the one installed together with my EPIM installation, so the installer came from essentialpim.
Apparently I need to upgrade my 2.1.4 to 2.1.5.
Can I safelyy make that upgrade, or shoulmd I start making backups, shut down the EPIM server...?
