Re: Remove local calendar?
Hi - short video attached - nothing sensitive on it so I'm happy to do so. I've realised it happens with a further step. If you delete the local calendar, and then try to create a new calendar entry that's when it reappears, as you'll see in the clip. I'm using the current up to date version of W11 ...

Remove local calendar?
Is it possible to remove the local calendar, or a least hide it from any calendar view? I only use a synchronised Outlook calendar, but then every time I try and set a date it defaults to the local calendar, and I have to remember to scroll down to the one I want. It's a constant irritation. If I tr...

Re: EssentialPIM for Android 6.0 Release Candidate
Ah prompted by poet-man I tried creating some dummy entries in tasks and note and see that they do indeed sync without prompting, so it now seems that the old pc sync module on aeepim is redundant if you have Epimcloud. But it still doesn't sync my outlook-related calendar and fills my database with...

Re: EssentialPIM for Android 6.0 Release Candidate
I had an Android sync set up on the PC and phone using the old direct sync method. When I installed the latest version of Aepim and activated the epimcloud sync it created the new phone-related calendar. I then thought that it didn't make sense to have the direct sync still there but if I remove it ...

Re: EssentialPIM for Android 6.0 Release Candidate
Calendar sync doesn't work at all... or at least it does but only if I manually duplicate entries from my main calendar (which is synchronised with my Outlook calendar) in the new calendar which has appeared with the name of my phone. It's not the end of the world because I can still see all my cale...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
I like where you're going with this, but I've had a few issues. I have a two way sync with my Outlook calendar. When I first ran it in the RC, I hit a stop... something about not being able to sync a tjpeg? So I tried removing the sync and setting it up again (as an Exchange Office/365 sync). This t...

Android and Outlook.com
It's not a real problem because the manual sync works for me, but I'm just curious why across various installations I've tried, the PC sync on Android NEVER detects my PC on the network, though it's fine when I then go to the manual option. Apart from that I just want to say thanks because Epim fina...

Outlook.com solution
I was having a lot of problems with the Exchange/Office sync, but then realised that the fact I had the datafile stored in a OneDrive folder might be causing those problems (access violations etc). So I've moved it to the built-in Dropbox option, and it seems (so far) to have fixed the problems. I'm...

Re: Facelift
That's good to hear Maxim - presumably if it's a completely redesigned UI that's going to be version 6 ... Are you allowed to say when that might be delivered? In truth the ribbon isn't my favourite bit of the Microsoft design language - I much prefer the sidebar approach used in recent versions of ...

I'm a pro user - and have been for a few years. I use it primarily for the Notes module (and never touch the email module), not least because of the Android sync. I like most things about the program's functionality, but have to say it's all beginning to look a little tired visually. It's especially...

black text on white?
I've just bought a Nexus 7 - lovely little machine, and the Epim software seems fine, but it's highlighted an issue for me. I much prefer the tree structure of EPIM Notes to Evernote, and unlike Evernote EPIM is fully functional offline, (which matters with the Nexus because it's WiFi only). The one...

Re: Android update causes new problems
Hah! Much to my delight the update to Android 4 seems to have done the trick! - and solved the font rendering problem (now everything is white on black) - and so far my phone seems to be running shiny new ICS without any problems so I'm doubly grateful!
