Re: Can't use Enter key in Password->notes
Thanks for the reply. I've tried the following but still can't use the enter key in EPIM notes field in Passwords: - Deleted the ini file - Upgraded to v9.7 portable - tried downloading the Synchronizer program and copying the data to a new file Nothing worked. Same problem as before. Note that this...

Re: Can't use Enter key in Password->notes
Sorry, I should've included that. Yes, up to date as of Monday 1 Feb. Portable version of EPIM. Running on Windows 10, also up to date. Not sure what you mean by new database. A new copy? I've got a lot of info In the database I've been using, can't lose that! FYI, I've opened that db in every versi...

Can't use Enter key in Password->notes
For some reason, every time I press the Enter key in the note field of a Password, rather than going to the next line, all the notes are highlighted. Any attempt to type something new overwrites everything in the field. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Thanks

How to upgrade EPIM portable
Can someone point me to / tell me the proper way to upgrade a portable version of EPIM.
I've made backups, but I don't want to lose any data in the process.
Thanks,
EdB

Re: Missing Find box in 5.5?
I downloaded and installed the update and it seems to be working fine. Find box is visible, and I did a few quick searches with it and all seems to work well.
Thanks much! Best wishes on the new release.

Missing Find box in 5.5?
I downloaded the 5.5 RC and now can't locate the find (search) box for Contacts. I rely on it a lot. A bug, or am I missing something? Using free version on Win7.

Re: Access violation is back
I think I've solved the problem. I optimized the database, renamed it and made a copy and all seems to work fine now. If it happens again, I'll let you know.

Access violation is back
Version 3.23 has brought back the access violation problem. Attempts to close EPIM display the following message box: Access violation at address 746F4E5B. Read of address 746F4E5B. The box cannot be closed and neither can the program. The only way to close it is to go into Windows and kill the proc...

Re: Access violation exiting EPIM 3.12 / Win 7
Can some in the thread please try to create a new database and then save it and then try to close? Just wondering whether that's got to do something with databases. I opened EPIM, closed my usual database, then created a new blank one. Saved it, then closed EPIM. I got the same Access violation err...

Access violation exiting EPIM 3.12 / Win 7
I'm using Windows 7 RC with EPIM Free v 3.12. When I close EPIM, I get the access violation message below. The only way to completely close EPIM is by killing the thread with Windows Process Explorer. The problem began with the upgrade from 3.10 to 3.11 and continues in 3.12. Doesn't happen on my XP...

Re: Back up notes - individually
Thank you! The sync worked perfectly. Now I have a complete working DB with no error codes on opening, optimizing, or closing.
I very much appreciate your efforts. Time for me to donate.
