When entering a new event in the calendar there used to be the option to assign private/public status in the dialogue box. This suddenly disappeared. Has it been removed by the software developers or have I clicked something by mistake to make it disappear from view?

I received a notification today to update EPIM Pro from version 9.8 to 9.9. However, every time I try I get an error message and the update fails. See attached/below.


What can I do to fix this?

The latest version 9.8. It happens every time I exit EPIM at the end of my session in front of the pc. Then when I restart EPIM and exit again the uploading database is successful perhaps at the second or third attempt.

I did what you suggested and the error still appears. I need to store the database in dropbox so that I can access it from two different computers.

View->Show attached images inline That is for showing image files within the body of the message. I meant is it possible to see previews of attachments such as PDF documents without opening them? For example, in windows explorer you can see a preview of a PDF without opening it. Does EPIM allow this...

It would be good if you could see a preview of email attachments without having to open them. Is this already possible? Have I missed something? If it is not possible at present then I would like to make this a suggestion for future updates.

I get this error often when exiting EPIM. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection. Why does it happen and what can I do about it?

Cannot check for updates on EPIM Pro 9.8. Always get an error message. See attached and below.

Why does it happen, what does it mean, and how can it be fixed?

I have already switched on "Show Attached Images Inline". I can see inline images within the body of the message. What I meant was how can you preview an attachment such as a PDF without downloading or opening it? Is it not possible to just single click on it to see a preview?

Does EPIM not show a preview of email attachments such as PDF documents or JPEG files? It would be very useful so you can see without downloading or opening it.

If it is possible how do you configure it to do that?

Thanks for the advice guys. My database is currently 350MB and uploading takes some time. Maybe that's due to my internet speed?

What happens when the EPIM database file gets too big? Clearly the bigger the file size the longer it takes to sync, upload and download. What can be done if it gets too big?
