Re: Imap not downloading frequently enough
OK. I'll assume the issue is with Runbox, not you. I've been trying to check my other two accounts I don't use, and they don't seem to be suffering the same problem. Thanks for checking.

Re: Imap not downloading frequently enough
We are dealing with a problem of communication. So, allow me to explain clearly. I have a domain. I switched a couple of years ago to an email provider because my web host, which provided email service, didn't do a good enough job. So, I have a single "account" say, myname@runbox.com. I th...

How to Merge 2 task lists?
Somehow, no doubt from starting to use EPIM without knowing how to use it, I've ended up with 2 local lists, General list and List 1. Half my stuff is on each list. I understand I can set the view to consolidated and see both lists combined, but I'm only one person and I don't need or want half my s...

Re: Imap not downloading frequently enough
I will pay more attention. I avoid using both the Comcast account and the Gmail account, so don't know if they have an issue. In the runbox account, I forward email to folders steveshank_com and nospam. Those are the two accounts I actually use regularly.

Re: Imap not downloading frequently enough
I've sent you an email with a zipped mail log file. The log file was immediately after I clicked on a sub-folder and the last 10 hours of emails appeared.

Re: Restore from backup
How far back do your backups go? I make local images every month, differentials every week and cloud with 30 previous versions every day, plus daily data backups with 3 previous versions retained. In any case, EPim isn't going to mess with changing your backups. This is one of the use cases for back...

Re: Imap not downloading frequently enough
Interesting. Thanks. Get immediately was already checked. I unchecked and then checked again and turned off the auto every 10 minutes. Perhaps it is my provider, but I'll try without the auto send/receive.

Imap not downloading frequently enough
IMAP email issue. Windows 11 23H2. Latest full release of epim. I have a few subfolders under my inbox and filter messages at the server level to those folders. For the couple of weeks, my main folder and second most common folder, seem to check with the email server only once an hour or half hour, ...

Re: Restore from backup
If it isn't in trash, and isn't in backups, then I'd guess it is in your database, but has some parameter, like a group setting, that is keeping it from the view you are looking through.

Re: Recover a single email or attachment
Well, that was simple. Thanks. Too bad I deleted the attachments for doing that backup. However, I do have an hourly cloud backup I can use.

Recover a single email or attachment
I deleted a single email's attachments. It was a mistake. Is there a tool to access my backup and file the files and recover them?

Re: Emailmodule
Steve, what I find 'obvious' is, to be able to use data in a mail module, which is there in the app anyway. Say mail addresses in contacts or other data that I want to link to and which is stored in AEPIM. I guess it is largely my use case that makes it worthless. I work at my office each day and d...

Re: Emailmodule
Poet-man, you keep saying it is obvious. You are asked what features. You say, "it is obvious." Well it is not obvious. I use IMAP. My android mail app is not "storing my emails." They are all stored in EPIM on the desktop and at my email service. I check emails from my tablet. T...

Re: Data lost...
A little late, but a good preventative is a good UPS which should also preserve the life of you PC. I also have hourly backups using Idrive, which keeps previous versions, and daily backups with previous version to a local drive, plus daily backups made by essential pim and backups of those backups....
