Re: 12.1.3 | Licence expired
I have the same problem as others. I have a lifetime updates license which has worked without problem up to now. Update to 12.1.3 (Build 1029) was o.k., and it is what I am now using, but Build 1030 update tells me about an expired license, so I don't proceed with it but stay with Build 1029.

Solved: Can't sync to smartphone
Success!
I uninstalled and reinstalled Epim Pro on my PC. And yes, I had not only stored my registration number carefully, but I remembered where I stored it, so I had no problem with registering the new installation. (For the sake of others who may try this, know where you Epim data files are ...

Re: Can't sync to smartphone
Admin, given that PC Sync doesn't work for me when all firewalls are off, why should the EPIM entry to the firewalls make a difference? Have you seen this in the past?

Re: Can't sync to smartphone
Thank you, Dierk, for trying to help me. I appreciate that. May the moon always be in a favorable phase when you gaze upon it!
So far, though, I can't get a PC sync connection no matter what I do, and I have repeated trying to connect. Also,. Epim points to the firewalI. Well, I have noticed that ...

Re: Can't sync to smartphone
In accord with the suggestion, I tried (once again) temporarily disabling both Avast shields and Windows Defender Firewall for public and private networks. It still didn't work.
I also reset the Bluetooth pairing between my computer and the smartphone. That also didn't make a difference.

Can't sync to smartphone
I haven't been able to sync between EPM Pro and my android smartphone. EPIM android app keeps telling me:
- Connected to the Wi-FI network (and it gives the correct name of the network)
- No PCs with with running Windows version of EssentialPim detected.
- If I use manual connection, the app gives ...

Re: "Markdown Here" in the email module.
Oops, I worked on this some more, and I think what I said about putting HTML from Markdown editors into the EPIM email was probably wrong. There isn't a direct way to put the HTML code into the EPIM email. One can put in boldface or different font size or lists or tables or symbols, etc., but there ...

Re: "Markdown Here" in the email module.
I finally realized that all I had to do to get the essential functionality of Markdown Here in EssentialPim is to have a Markdown editor (preferably one with a live preview of what the HTML will look like), and then copy (or export) the HTML from there to the message in EssentialPim, with the format ...

"Markdown Here" in the email module.
I could really use "Markdown Here" for writing messages for email! Without it, I have to use Thunderbird for sending out a newsletter.

Re: In password module, "see" and "generate" are too close together
Oh, you're right. I had had problems in the past, with "generate" immediately changing the password. I just never got around to joining the forum until now. But trying it out now, the "generate" option works as you say, and one has a chance to click cancel. That's very good, and solves the problem I ...

In password module, "see" and "generate" are too close together
In my opinion, in the password module, the icon to click to see the password (rather than just ******) and the box to click to generate a new password are too close together. It is too easy to accidentally click the "generate" box when trying simply to see the password. They are on the same line and ...
