Re: Google note sync kind of useless, when used with google docs.
Semi related to this I had two major issues with Google Drive syncing and notes that made it pointless. #1 All the other programs I use to edit notes on google drives do it in .docx and not the native format. Once a document is on google as .docx I know of no way to convert it back to the native for...

Re: Darg to export as DOCX
All my clients demand .docx. RTF may be more universal but .docx is what everyone's using and wanting.

Re: Darg to export as DOCX
That's what I've been doing. It's just so slow and so many extra clicks that I'm getting really tempted to just stop using EPIM for things I need export often to docx.

Darg to export as DOCX
By default when you drag a note out of EPIM to your desktop or a folder it exports it out as a .rtf.
How can I change it so the drag to export, exports as .docx instead?

compact mode for note tabs and smart lists in the new beta
Hi, I don't have access to the beta forum so hopefully it's okay to post this here. I like the idea of the side tabs in the new version but I think there needs to be a compact mode. I made a quick mockup of what I think I good compact mode would look like. I myself tend to give all my note tabs only...

Re: What version of EPIM should be LTS?
Version 6 is the only old version I still use because for big notes it's faster. It's note editor also works better with third party tools. The current note editor broke a lot of support for third party tools when it got the zoom feature because it appears to no longer be a real text area and is ins...

Re: Finding hidden private items.
Why shouldn't the search not find the Item, just not show it until the password is inserted? You might not remember the Item is hidden and think it's not there. Standardization? Windows for example doesn't show you hidden items in search if you don't show them via a toggle switch first. I'd say the...

Better from email selection and replay based on actual email account received
I have 16 email address in EPIM and the drop down list is a nightmare. Could it be replaced with a combo box? Dropdown list + auto complete typing based on the email address not the name; I use the same name on all my email accounts so auto complete based on account name would be useless. The second...

Re: 11.1 beta 1 new note toolbar and text wraping
+1 new beta note toolbar isn't great. I think it could work if there was a whole lot more user options, such as a system to define what went into overflow mode, and what was always visible, along with options for more than 1 row. But all that would make for a messy amount of new options, whereas the...

Re: EssentialPIM 11.0 Release Candidate
Any chance there could be an single row Icon only mode for the note filters?
I like keeping my tree thin and the filter names are mostly cut off, and they also feel like they take up a lot of vertical space.

Note view hotekeys for favorites | recent as toggles
I think it would make sense if the hotkeys for the note favorite | recent view states where toggles. example: Ctrl+w would toggle between All and favorites Logic for Ctrl+w would be: If not favorites then favorites else all That way for anyone who only frequently uses a single state would only need ...

Re: EPIM Synchronizer and Archiver commandline
In addition to that we can make a dialog window that would allow you to easily set up scheduled syncs (to be executed with Win Scheduler) directly from the apps (no need to use command line). The question is - how many people need this. Let's wait and find out. I'm not comfortable with setting thin...

Re: EssentialPIM 10.0 Release Candidate 1
We hear you, although I'm afraid we'll not be able to make anymore changes regarding how the feature looks like before the final 10.0 version release. Although, I can promise we will take all your suggestions into account when working on EPIM 10.1. We will have to introduce some interface changes i...
