Re: Can the left hand menu please be fixed soon?

+1 on still waiting for a real fix. Personally I edit the language file to just have a single letter for each one and it works pretty okay, as other have said, getting kind of annoying to have to re-do the manual patch every update though. That said I think it was said that the real fix to this will...

Re: How many notes can I have?

Generally speaking the limit is space on your hard drive. Practically speaking there are some limits, if notes get too long it can cause a lot of issues. Once they hit 2 million words it renders EPIM mostly unusable. However if you are dealing with smaller sized notes then most computers should be a...

Re: Two windows or instances for moving data between modules

I want to attach (not link) many email messages to specific contacts. I say attach rather than link so that I can then delete them from the email. However, I don't see how I can have the email and contact modules open simultaneously to easily accomplish this task. I tried to open a second instance ...

Re: Accidental Program reset

What do you think you accidentally clicked? As far as I am aware the only way to reset user settings is to manually go into your file system and delete the EPIM.ini file. or to "reset" or rather "create a new" database you already get a prompt asking if you really want to close o...

Module split screen

There are times when it would be exceeding handy if you could split screen two different modules at the same time. Email on the left | Calendar on the right Tasks on the left | Notes on the right Notes on the left | Contacts on the right Right now whenever I'm in a state where I have to do this, I c...

Copy/Past can cuase jumpiness in 10.0 notes

When you "past" into a note in 10.0 it can cause the note to jump around. In the attached video I copy a "b" and then Ctrl+v past it in the front of several lines. In 10.0 you can see that some lines cause the screen to jump around. I then switch to 9 and past the same "b&qu...

Font issues in 10.0

I thought I'd make a generic sounding post for people to post any new font issues in 10.0 as I've come up with another one myself. The font rendering issues are causing issues with 3rd party text capturing programs such as the hotkey lookup function in WordWeb. https://wordweb.info/ On any newly hea...

Tool to bulk change fonts.

Tool to bulk change fonts. Updated my main EPIM to version 10 today, and I didn't realize that virtually all my notes would have fonts that are more or less completely broken in the new rendering system. Need a tool or setting that can bulk change font in 20,000 notes. Something that can search all ...

Re: EssentialPIM 10.0 Release Candidate 1

This is how it looks like in the 10.0 RC2 version (will be released in the beginning of next week). Should make the selection quicker. BTW Favorites along with Recently viewed/modified lists will be global. That's going to work poorly in Icon and no navigation pane mode. Around the office there are...

Re: No notifcation rule for email

That wouldn't work very well. I wouldn't be able to see the unread count on the folder and I would have to randomly guess when I had new newsletters to read.

No notifcation rule for email

A message rule that prevents notifications, and tray icon updates for a new message, but doesn't mark it as read. Reason: I have newsletters I like to archive, and I like to know which ones are new, or rather which I haven't read yet, but I don't want to get notices when they come in through the wor...

Re: EssentialPIM 10.0 Release Candidate 1

After using the RC around the office for a couple days, and giving it a fair chance I can say that no one here likes how the favorite system in the notes works. Everyone agrees that swapping between all and favorites is too much of a pain and feels that it kills as much time as it saves in most case...

Re: EssentialPIM 10.0 Release Candidate 1

The scrollbar in note history is broken. Steps: - Get enough history states to need a scrollbar (an easy task, I already have notes with over 50 history states in under an hour of use.) - Scroll with the mouse wheel. - Result: The scrollbar doesn't move. If you drag the bar with your mouse it stays ...

Re: EssentialPIM 10.0 Release Candidate 1

The new version history feature is pretty disappointing and weird... #1 It's in a bizarre place: Right-click note > Properties > version history. Really bad placement IMO, this should be somewhere else, such as a toolbar icon. Buried in note properties is just weird, and out of place. History is not...
