Android Sync / Nextcloud
Hi there I am using EM Client for many years now. For syncing to my Android device, I use my own Nextcloud server. Back when I decided, it was a close call with EPIM: I liked that EPIM has a dedicated Android app which is not the case with EM client. Why did I decide against EPIM? Desktop and Androi...

Re: .ics - Open with ...
so what's the current situation on opening ICS? still no import upon doubleclick??? come on, don't give me the import routine explanation. EPIM should recognise the files and import them straight from the attachment. you cannot really expect people to go saving their ics to a folder and then navigat...

Re: Synchronizing EPIM contact list with native Android contact list without cloud
Demal, thanks.
But, seriously: Did you not buy this program so that it would do all this? Was that not the promise?
Now you go to the legths of all these individual steps - JUST TO MAKE YOUR CONTACTS SHOW UP IN YOUR PHONE!!!!
does that finally make you think, you guys behind the code?

Re: Epim Contacts and system dialer
Come on, guys, this is SIMPLY ANNOYING I once bought this program with a couple of lifetime licences. ANd these basic matter just don't work. I am using this program only for notes now. this is what I'm left with when it comes to the rest: 1) no email sync. but the email client of EPIM is really ann...

Re: Android sync options
Well, yes. There is a point there. I assume that the means of syncing and connecting will not change drastically. Apart from that: I am not so sure that OwnCloud will just be gone. There have been too many examples of open source projects going wild all over the place with many curators. Just have a...

Re: POLL: e-mail improvement suggestions
Quite honestly: the mail client sucks. I was very disappointed by it and with each new version, I have a look but refuse to use it. It's a crying shame. As for the suggestions list: When you ask me, they are mostly beside the point. Have a look at EM Client to see how a mail client should look like ...

Max, nearly three years now. What about it now?
Still nothing for 7?
Hmmm ...
This should definitely have far more priority.

Re: Full mobility required
o synchronize between Desktop and Laptop, I think you can use DropBox service builtin EPIM. Dropbox is nice. But there are a lot of users who specifically do not want this service. We never ever use it. You are a company explicitly advertising your product as one that protects privacy, so shouldn't...

Re: Owncloud Synchronization
Hmm.
So that renders Sync via Owncloud next to useless in a scenario with a mobile phone.
When are you planning on changing this?
Apart from that: Is there a changelog for the Android client?

Hi Thomas,
thanks for your reply.

Re: Owncloud Synchronization
Thanks for your swift reply, Max. We are not finally decided whether we go for EssentiaPIM for our office. We definitely want to sync via OwnCloud as all our data sits on our server and this system is running very well. To be honest, I find it strange that sync via Owncloud does not work in 5.82. Th...
